St. Clair College serves over 6,500 full-time students and 14,000 part-time students, on their 5 campuses in Southwestern Ontario: Windsor (Main) Campus, Centre for the Arts (Downtown Campus), MediaPlex, Chatham Campus, and Skilled Trades Regional Training Centre. St. Clair College has 8 schools, each with their own academic programs and departments:

Support Services Available

Health Services

St. Clair College's  has health care provided by medical and nursing professionals to all St. Clair students.  There are locations on the main campus, downtown campus and Chatham campus.

 

Counselling Services

St. Clair College offers  for any student who may be experiencing stressful events in their life.

St. Clair College offers  programs for incoming students at both the Thames and main Windsor campuses.

St. Clair College's  offers a range of  financial assistance which consists of merit-based scholarships, need-based bursaries, and awards based on academic achievement. Residence and Housing

On-Campus Housing

St. Clair College’s  offers suite style residence for students at the main campus in Windsor and at the Thames campus. At the main campus in Windsor, the residence building has 204 suite-style rooms, each with 2 private bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchenette.  At the Thames campus, the residence building has 12 4-bedroom units, each with private bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and full kitchen.  Residence spaces are granted on a first come, first served basis. Building amenities at both residences include:

  • Common areas
  • Access to a front desk
  • Maintenance
  • Laundry facilities

Each room is furnished and includes internet access and local telephone service. Residence rates vary per year and payment plans are available for residence fees. Meal plans are not currently offered.

Several barrier-free rooms are available for students who require special accommodations. Students are required to provide details on the Medical, Accessibility and Special Consideration section of the residence application, along with proper documentation.

Campus Accessibility

Windsor Transit

 is comprised of buses. Full-time students at St. Claire College are eligible for a discounted .  are offered for every transit route that Transit Windsor provides.

Accessibility

Transit Windsor uses fully buses on some routes, which are indicated on the published schedules when they are in service. These buses are low-floor buses with ramps, and space for two wheelchairs or scooters. Drivers will call all stops that have been requested by passengers.

Transit Windsor offers Handi-Transit which is a curb to curb transit service for persons with disabilities, who due to their disability are unable to use the conventional transit. Persons interested in using Handi-Transit must have their doctor complete the eligibility documentation form. The form can be received by going to Transit Windsor, or by calling.

 

Chatham Transit 

Chatham-Kent's  is comprised of buses. Full-time students at St. Clair College are eligible for a discounted semester pass.  are provided for every transit route that Urban Transit offers.

Accessibility

Chatham  is a curb-to-curb service for persons with disabilities, who due to their disability are unable to use the conventional transit. If a person requires an attendant to ride with them, the attendant can travel free of charge.
