Residence and Housing

On-Campus Housing

Durham College’s  offers private and traditional style suites on the Oshawa campus for all students. Residence assignment operates on a lottery system and students who are not selected in the initial round of room allocations are placed on a waiting list. Traditional style suites include 2 students to a room with a shared washroom and kitchenette. Private suite style residence includes 2 private bedrooms with a shared kitchenette and a shared washroom. All building amenities include:

  • Access to a front desk
  • Maintenance
  • Laundry facilities

Rooms come furnished and include internet access, local phone service, and cable television access. Residence rates vary depending on room selection and payment plans are available. Students accepted into South Village Residence are required to purchase a meal plan, while students accepted to Simcoe Village Residence have the option of purchasing a meal plan.  operate on a declining meal based system.
