Centennial College serves 18,000 full-time and 20,000 part-time students at its campuses in the Greater Toronto Area: Ashtonbee campus, Downsview campus, Morningside campus, Progress campus, and Story Arts Centre campus.  Centennial also has 2 additional learning sites: Eglinton and Pickering learning sites.

Residence and Housing

On-Campus Housing

Centennial College’s  offers traditional style accommodation in single and double occupancy rooms at the Progress campus. Residence operates on a first-come, first-served basis until maximum capacity is reached. Traditional style rooms include single or double bedrooms with a communal washroom. Building amenities include:

  • Access to a 24/7 front desk
  • Maintenance
  • Laundry facilities

All rooms come furnished and include internet and local telephone service. Residence rates vary depending on room selection and payment plans are available for residence fees. Meal plans are not currently offered.

The residence is fully accessible for people with disabilities. In order to arrange for accommodations or special needs in residence, students are asked to contact the Residence and Conference Centre.

Toronto Transit

The  is comprised of subways, buses, and streetcars. A discounted  is available for purchase for full-time students at Centennial College.  are provided for each of the TTC transit options.

Accessibility

The TTC offers  on both their buses and subways. Accessible services on buses include kneeling features, ramps, lifts, automated next stop announcements, wheel chair and scooter positions, and priority seating. The subways provide accessible services such as wheel chair positions and priority seating. There are elevators at half of the subway stations, with the goal of the remaining stations to be accessible by 2025.

The TTC offers the  which allows users of the transit system who require a support person to have this person travel with them at no additional cost. Persons interested in the support program must fill out the .

 is a service that provides door-to-door accessible transit service for persons with physical disabilities. The TTC has established  for the use of Wheel-Trans. Persons seeking to use Wheel-Trans must participate in an in-person interview.
